Step 1: Connect the Battery to the Charge Controller First Connect the negative/- cable to the battery terminal on the charge controller. Then connect the positive/+ cable to the battery terminal on the charge controller. Make sure to screw in the exposed wire tightly inside the controller terminal. Then screw on the battery rings to the battery. Step 2: Connect the Solar Panel to Charge Controller Second Connect the male/black wire of our solar cable to the female/- cable from the solar panel, and then connect the extended cable to the - solar terminal on the charger controller. Then connect the female/red wire of our solar cable to the male/+ cable from the solar panel, and then connect the extended cable to the + solar terminal on the charge controller. That's it!
